The events dedicated to the 2750th anniversary of Samarkand and 2000th anniversary of Margilan will be held on 23 May at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, Jahon news agency reported.

The opening of the third part of the permanently working exhibition entitled “Trip around the world” has been held at the ethnographic museum of Leipzig in Germany, Jahon agency reported.
The “Uzbekkino” National Agency jointly with the Ferghana Regional Administration are holding the “Days of the Uzbek national cinema arts” dedicated to the jubilee of Margilan city, the UzA reported.
“Karakalpakfilm”, cinema studio at the “Uzbekkino” National Agency, presented the new documentaries to the audiences, UzA reported.
The “Week of fine arts of Uzbekistan” will be held for the first time in Tashkent on 21-25 April, the local newspapers reported.
The photo-exhibition was held at the Tashkent House of Photography last week. It was organized within the framework of the “Woman in society” Project now being implemented upon the initiative of the German organization “Theodore Heuss Kolleg”.
