Andijan region recorded the highest growth of industrial output in January-June 2009, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said. The region posted 16.9% growth of industrial output in the reporting period.

The volume of paid services rendered to population in January-June 2009 made up 2.614 trillion soums or grew by 18% year-on-year, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.
