A four-party agreement to expand the Central Asia - Center (CAC) gas pipeline will be signed by the end of this year, Shavkat Mazhitov, first deputy chairman of Uzbekistan’s national oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz, told reporters.

Uzbekistan plans to hold talks with Russia in December on raising the price of Uzbek natural gas deliveries for 2008, a spokesperson for state oil and gas company Uzbekneftegaz said.
