Kapitalbank holds talks with financial institutions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Management of the Kapitalbank open joint stock commercial bank held several negotiations with various financial structures within the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

On 2 May, the bank’s management held negotiations on with the Asia Bankers Association (ABA). Chairman of the ABA Governors Board Sussan Chang and Deputy Secretary of the ABA Amador Honroado. During the meeting, Kapitalbank presented its activities and provided the guests with detained information of banking industry of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the guests briefed the Kapitalbank management on the activity of ABA, its structure, members and membership procedures. Kapitalbank was offered to become of the ABA, which the Uzbek bank accepted.

On 3 May 2010, the Kapitalbank hold negotiations with the representatives of Turkish bank – Bank Asya. The sides discussed issues on establishing bilateral correspondence relations.

On 4 May, management of Kapitalbank held three meetings with HSBC (UK), Uni Credit Bank (Italy) and Commerzbank AG (Germany).

The sides considered issues of establishing bilateral relations and expanding existing ties. In particular, the Kapitalbank and Commerzbank AG agreed on increasing financial trade operations till the end of 2010.
