Beeline expands geography of roaming services

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) expanded geography of international voice, CAMEL, GPRS and 3G roaming.
The agreement on rendering voice roaming was inked with MTNL (India), Orange (Austria), Orange (Switzerland); Telecell (Saint Martin Islands); Vodafone (Albania) and T-Mobile (Montenegro).
Now, Beeline subscribers can use CAMEL-roaming service at the networks of Axis (Indonesia), AT&T (US) and EMT (Estonia).
Ivan Smolentsev, Beeline Business Head, said development of mobile broadband Internet in Uzbekistan reflected in this segment of business. “That’s why, we expanded GPRS and 3G roaming along with unique CAMEL-roaming service,” he added.
From March 2010, GPRS roaming service is available at networks of Mobinil (Egypt), Si.Mobil (Slovenia) and China Unicom (China). Beeline also inked 3G roaming agreement with Chinese company.
