Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Mongolia have signed 14 documents following the negotiations between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan and President Khurelsukh Ukhaa of Mongolia.
After the presidents' talks, a ceremony was held to sign a series of bilateral documents. The heads of state signed a Joint Statement on interstate relations and cooperation.
Among the key documents signed between Uzbekistan and Mongolia are:
- An intergovernmental program on trade, economic, and investment cooperation for the period 2024-2026.
- Intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in tourism and air communication, as well as international road transportation.
Also of significance are:
- Cooperation programs between foreign ministries for the coming years.
- Agreements on cooperation in agriculture, veterinary medicine, and animal husbandry.
- Scientific cooperation between Academies of Sciences.
- Agreements and protocols on cooperation in security, news activities, trade and industrial chambers, and the establishment of a joint Business Council.
Additionally, an agreement on cooperation between the administrations of the capitals - Tashkent and Ulaanbaatar - was signed.
