Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Three new four-car modern metro rolling stock were delivered to Tashkent. This was reported by the State Unitary Enterprise “Tashkent Metro”.

According to established instructions, these trains will undergo technical tests within 8-10 days, after which they will be ready to serve passengers. 

In order to further reduce time intervals on the lines, new cars will be put into operation mainly on the Yunusobod and Yer usti halqa yo'li lines.

It is also worth noting that during 2024 it is planned to gradually introduce 8 more metro trains. As a result of these planned works, it is planned to update the metro car fleet and further reduce fixed time intervals
