Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will establish a procedure for processing certain notarial transactions from abroad, the press service of the Ministry of Justice said.

This is envisaged by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On the state program for the implementation of the strategy “Uzbekistan-2030” in the “Year of Support for Youth and Business”.

According to the document, Uzbekistan is introducing a procedure for registering transactions related to the use of property through videoconferencing using an electronic digital signature without visiting a notary’s office, including while abroad.

However, this practice will not apply to transactions that involve the transfer of ownership to another person.

From 1 January 2024, Uzbekistan will introduce the practice of receiving contracts, including car purchase and sale transactions and other notarial documents, from the Notary automated system.

In addition, this system provides access to other government services in the field of road safety, including state registration of vehicles.
