Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent confirmed the detention of Salim Abduvaliev, also known by the nicknames “Salimbay” and “Salimboyvachcha”.

He was detained during operational preventive measures aimed at improving the crime situation.

“During the operational search activities initiated by the Investigation Department of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department, several people suspected of committing criminal activities were detained,” notes the department.

Among those detained is Salim Abduvaliev. He was charged under Article 248 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan (illegal possession of firearms). He was brought in as a suspect and detained in accordance with the procedure.
