Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An unregistered mining farm was discovered in Uzun district of Surkhandarya region. The Department of the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Economic Crimes of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

A mining farm consisting of 114 installations was found in the house of citizen O.K., who installed it in collusion with another person J.U.

According to the department, the mining farm was unauthorizedly connected to the power grid. The damage is estimated at 425.7 million soums.

A criminal case was initiated against the owners of the farm under Article 169 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. Investigative measures in this case are ongoing.
