Central Bank asks citizens not to trust fake messages

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The information distributed on social networks in the form of a letter from the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has nothing to do with false reports that as a result of a hacker attack, the servers were hacked, thanks to which the scammers had no problems all access to cards that were registered in one of the applications.

“This letter from 31 October actually refers to a situation that occurred in the spring of this year with other banking activities. The investigation and legal proceedings for the return of funds related to this situation are coming to an end,” the Central Bank said in a statement.

The Central Bank asks citizens not to trust fake messages spreading on social networks, but to use information from official sources.
