Akhangaranshifer to increase charter capital to 1.231bn soums

Akhangaranshifer open joint-stock company will increase its charter capital to execute the decree of the Uzbek President “On measures on further improvement of financial sustainability of enterprises of real sector of economy” from 18 November 2008.
In line with the decree, the existing open joint stock and close joint stock companies should increase their authorized capital to at least US$400,000 in equivalent on the rate of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan on the registration date or reorganize company to other form of ownership by 1 January 2010.
In line with the decision of the shareholders, the charter capital of Akhangaranshifer will be raised through increasing par value from 1,000 soums to 5,000 soums. In the result, the charter capital of Akhangaranshifer will reach 1.231 billion soums. The company will also direct 985.064 million soums of retained income.
Currently, the charter capital of the company makes up 246.266 million soums. The company issued 221,639 ordinary shares and 24,627 preferential shares.
Uzstroymaterially joint-stock company holds 51, 715 ordinary shares or 21% stake in Akhangaranshifer, while Bentonit possesses 77,723 ordinary shares or 31.6% stake in the authorized capital.
Akhangaranshifer produces and realizes asbestos roofed materials, pipes and other products. The company holds leading position in production of asbestos materials in Uzbekistan. Its share in the market is 50%.
