Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 July 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with the newly appointed Ambassador of Malaysia to Uzbekistan Ilham Tua bin Illias.

The parties discussed topical issues of dynamically developing relations, including diplomacy, education, economy, cultural and humanitarian ties and much more.

“We are glad to receive copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan, Ilham Tua bin Illias. Together with the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, we will support Mr. Ambassador in the implementation of his diplomatic mission aimed at strengthening Uzbek-Malaysian relations,” said Bakhtiyor Saidov.
