UZEX: total volume of transactions amounted to 571.0 billion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the period from 22 to 28 May, goods worth 2.18 trillion soums were sold on all trading platforms of the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX), which is 2.8% less than the previous week. Of these, 83.3% of concluded transactions fell on exchange trading, and the remaining 16.7% - on e-commerce trading systems.

The total volume of transactions concluded with the participation of small businesses and private entrepreneurship amounted to 571.0 billion soums.

As a result of electronic auctions for public procurement, the total savings of budgetary and corporate customers amounted to 94.0 billion soums.

During the period under review, 1,749 license plates were sold in the amount of 7.5 billion soums through an online auction.

Exchange trading

During the reporting period, commodity resources worth 1.81 trillion soums were sold at open exchange auctions, including:

Liquefied gas

Last week, 3,230.0 tons of liquefied gas were put up for sale, of which 3,161.0 tons or 97.9% were sold. An average of 125 buyers took part in exchange trading daily.

During the period under review, the daily average price for liquefied gas decreased from 4,875.7 thousand soums to 4,272.0 thousand soums per ton.

Cottonseed oil

Last week, 1,288.0 tons of cottonseed oil were sold. Every day, an average of 19 buyers took part in exchange trading.

During the period under review, the daily average price for all varieties of cottonseed oil decreased from 15.71 million soums to 14.86 million soums per ton.

Polyethylene

3,390.0 tons of polyethylene were put up for exchange auctions, of which the entire volume was sold. The daily sales of polyethylene averaged 678.0 tons.

During the period under review, the daily average price for polyethylene of all grades decreased from 16.43 million soums to 16 million soums per ton. An average of 74 buyers took part in exchange trading daily.
