Kazakhstan Stock Exchange holds “KASE Day in Tashkent”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 April 2023, Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC (hereinafter referred to as KASE, the Exchange) held a KASE Day in Tashkent in the Republic of Uzbekistan with the assistance of Uzbek Republican Currency Exchange JSC (UZCE) and Uzbekistan Stock Exchange “Toshkent” (UZSE).

The event was aimed at providing information on the possibilities of obtaining membership, the conditions for attracting financing on the Kazakh stock market for Uzbek companies and investing temporarily free funds on the KASE markets.

During KASE Day in Tashkent, representatives of the Exchange told the audience about the results of KASE activities, prospects for the development of the Kazakhstan exchange market, financial instruments and services of KASE, the central counterparty (CC), which guarantees the timely receipt of assets under transactions, risk management and adequate assessment of instruments in real time mode.

The main speakers were: Chairman of the Board of KASE Alina Aldambergen, General Director of UZCE Rashid Usmanov, Chairman of the Board of Freedom Finance JSC Sergey Lukyanov, Director of the Department for Work with Issuers and Investors of KASE Zarina Abitaeva, Head of the Corporate Finance Department of the Department of Financial Consulting and Underwriting of JSC "Halyk Finance" Altynai Ibraimova.

The event was attended by representatives of large Uzbek companies, issuers, investors and professional participants of the local market.
