Fact connected with illegal turnover of pyrotechnics stopped in Tashkent region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Officers of the Tashkent region police department seized 200,000 items of pyrotechnics worth 72 million soums, which were brought to the capital. This was reported by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent region.

In Tashkent region, seasonal control and raid activities are ongoing by employees of the Main Department of Internal Affairs services for the prevention of offenses and crimes.

In particular, during the next operational activities at the checkpoint of the Chinor traffic police station, located in Akhangaran region, an Isuzu truck was stopped, which was following in the direction of Vodiy-Toshkent. The vehicle was driven by citizen I.Kh., born in 1979.

As a result, 196,555 items of pyrotechnics were found in the luggage compartment of the vehicle. The total value of the products is 72 million soums (produced abroad and there are no documents confirming the passage of customs registration).

Legal action is currently being taken.
