International agreement on the protection of copyright on the Internet approved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On the approval of an international treaty” was adopted.

The resolution approved an agreement on cooperation between the CIS member states on the protection and protection of rights to objects of copyright and related rights in information and telecommunication networks, signed on 12 November 2021 at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The Ministry of Justice and the State Inspectorate for Control in the Sphere of Informatization and Telecommunications are responsible for the implementation of the agreement.
