The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan and Belarus identify priority areas for cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Rescuers of Uzbekistan and Belarus have identified priority joint activities for the next two years, BelTA reported.
On 1 October, a meeting was held in Samarkand between the Minister of Emergency Situations of Belarus Vadim Sinyavsky and the Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan Abdulla Kuldashev. The heads of departments discussed the results of interaction and prospects for the development of cooperation.
Vadim Sinyavsky and Abdulla Kuldashev exchanged views on developing the best practices for preventing emergencies and deaths from them, training personnel, equipping rescuers with effective personal protective equipment, logistical support for fire rescue units, organizing and conducting joint exercises, and other issues.
Following the meeting, the ministers signed an action plan for cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan for 2023-2024. The agreements include, in particular, joint training to improve the interaction of rescue units in crisis response, monitoring of emergency situations, scientific support for the rescue industry, development and popularization of fire and rescue sports.
