Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – About 80 specialists from the China Design Institute arrived in Kyrgyzstan and began work on preparing a feasibility study for the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project.
The leadership of Kyrgyzstan is firmly committed to the early implementation of the project and is making every effort to develop a feasibility study as soon as possible.
The agreement on the construction of the railway is planned to be signed in September at the SCO summit.
The highway should connect Chinese railways with Uzbekistan, and then go to Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey. The implementation of the project will make Central Asia an important transit route.
