In 73 institutions of the system of the Ministry of Higher Education, financial errors and shortcomings for almost 11.5 billion soums were revealed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 73 institutions of the system of the Ministry of Higher Education, financial errors and shortcomings for almost 11.5 billion soums were revealed. Of these, misappropriation and excessive spending of funds in the amount of 10.1 billion soums was prevented, and 1.6 billion soums were collected and restored during preventive measures. 

In addition, in the process of carrying out preventive measures in financial errors and shortcomings in the amount of 259.0 million soums, identified in 3 organizations, the presence of elements of a crime was established, documents on these violations were sent to law enforcement agencies for legal action.

Four heads and officials of organizations that made financial shortcomings were dismissed from their positions, 31 were subject to disciplinary measures, and 1 was fined.
