Power Uzbekistan - for a quarter of a century, has firmly occupied a leading position among energy events held in the region and is rightfully considered the largest and most attended event in the industry. It should be noted that Uzbekistan is one of the few countries in the world that fully provides itself with electricity from its own resources. Large-scale reforms are being carried out in the country, the purpose of which is the modernization and restoration of electricity and gas supply facilities, the construction of new generation facilities and power transmission lines, the development of renewable energy sources, and systematic work is underway to attract investment, including through public-private partnerships (PPP) . On the basis of PPP, which is fundamentally new for the country’s energy sector, private investments are attracted in the construction of solar and wind power plants of the latest generation. The first of the PV power plants with a capacity of 100 MW was put into operation in August 2021 in Navoi region, the next one will be a PV power plant with a capacity of 100 MW in Samarkand region. If today the share of RES in the country accounts for only 8% of the total volume of electricity produced, then by 2026 the goal is to bring this figure to 25%. To achieve this goal, the country is actively building solar power plants, wind farms and hydroelectric power plants.
The single technological space Power Uzbekistan 2022 will demonstrate the rich potential of Uzbekistan in the development and modernization of the energy complex. The exposition of the exhibition will present almost all the main directions of the energy complex. One of the goals of the exhibition is to promote the restoration of old and the establishment of new business ties, acquaintance with advanced technologies and equipment, which will contribute to the implementation of large-scale reforms in the industry within the framework of the "Concept for providing the Republic of Uzbekistan with electric energy for 2020-2030" and other program steps announced Republic leadership.
