Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Department of Financial and Compliance Control of Uzbekneftegaz gave instructions to eliminate the shortcomings identified in a study conducted in July 2021, it turned out that errors in the storage of oil products and calculations continued in subsequent periods with contractors.

In particular, in gas stations No. 1 and No. 3, related to the tank farm, in January-December 2021, 2.53 billion soums of funds were disbursed by financially responsible persons.

When re-registering oil products stored at the oil depot, in 5 cases, a shortage was revealed for a total of 4.5 million soums and recovery from financially responsible persons was ensured.

These studies on the above facts were transferred to law enforcement agencies, as a result, the prosecutor’s office the Namangan region initiated a criminal case against the officials of the tank farm under paragraph "a" of part 3 of article 167 and part 1 of article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An investigation is currently underway.

It should be noted that preventive and control measures are regularly carried out in the system of Uzbekneftegaz JSC. The collected documents on identified shortcomings, facts of theft and theft are submitted to law enforcement agencies.
