Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Action Plan of the Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ensuring Gender Equality, aimed at further developing a system of support for women, ensuring their active participation in society, envisages the organization and holding of the Week "100 Women Inventors" in 2022 region".

On this issue, a joint meeting of the Senate Committee on Women and Gender Equality, and the Ministry for Support of the Mahalla and Family was held.

The meeting was attended by representatives of a number of ministries and departments, state and non-governmental organizations, chairmen of the standing commissions of local Kengashes on youth policy, women and gender equality, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, advisers to the khokims of the regions and the city of Tashkent on women’s issues.

The purpose of the Week is to search for talented women engaged in inventive and rationalization activities in various sectors of the economy, conducting research work, promoting their projects, discovering their talents and new opportunities, creating a healthy competitive atmosphere among women professionals, students and students, comprehensive support their initiatives and aspirations.

The meeting discussed issues of organizing a high-level Week in the field, various competitions, women’s forums, exhibition and training seminars, motivational psychological trainings and round tables.

In addition, it is planned to establish fruitful scientific and creative ties between women scientists, teachers, women inventors, innovators, engineers, designers, programmers, doctors, pharmacists, entrepreneurs, craftswomen, specialists in the agricultural and other fields, students and pupils, to support them innovative projects, to identify more than 100 women inventors throughout the republic, in the future to conduct targeted and targeted work with them.

As a result of the discussion, the participants made a number of proposals and comments regarding the developed draft Regulations on the organization of the Week.
