Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data, in January-September 2021, enterprises of Uzbekistan produced industrial products worth 314.8 trillion soums, the index of physical volume of industrial production by the same period in 2020 amounted to 109.0%.
In the structure of production, the largest share falls on manufacturing enterprises (83.0%), the volume of production of which amounted to 261.3 trillion soums, the State Statistics Committee said.
The main factors of growth in the physical volume of industrial production were its increase in the mining industry by 14.2%, in the manufacturing industry - by 7.4%, power supply, gas, steam and air conditioning - by 10,7%.
The volume of products produced by mining and quarrying enterprises in January-September 2021 amounted to 29.8 trillion soums, or 9.5% of the total industry.
In the structure of the manufacturing industry, the specific weight of high-tech industries amounted to 2.8% (1.6% for January-September 2020), medium-high-tech industries - 19.1% (24.0%), medium-low-tech industries - 40.9% (40.0%) and low-tech - 37.1% (34.4%).
In the volume of the manufacturing industry, the share of enterprises for the production, repair, assembly of machinery and equipment, the production of cars, trailers, semi-trailers and other finished products amounted to 16.7% (the physical volume index amounted to 96.2% against January-September 2020), the metallurgical industry - 27.1% (the volume index amounted to 110.4% against January-September 2020), enterprises for the production of textile, clothing and leather products - 17.3% (the volume index against January-September 2020 was 120, 6%), for the production of foodstuffs, beverages and tobacco products - 16.9% (the index of physical volume in January-September 2020 amounted to 106.7%), enterprises for the production of chemical products, rubber and plastic products - 9.4% (the index of physical volume by January-September 2020 amounted to 105.5%).
In January-September 2021, the republic produced 815.2 thousand tons of motor gasoline (compared to the corresponding period of 2020, an increase of 6.0%), 470.5 thousand tons of cotton yarn (an increase of 26.5%), 209.9 million liters of beer (decrease by 1.0%) and 1,332.3 thousand tons of flour from soft wheat and spelled (decrease by 9.4%).
In January-September 2021, 2,919 trucks were produced in the republic (by the corresponding period of 2020, the volume of production decreased by 0.5%).

The overhaul and restoration work of technological equipment made it possible to increase the capacity utilization of chemical enterprises and exceed the production indicators of the previous year for the production of methyl alcohol (7.0 times by January-September 2020) and caustic soda (+15.4%). At the same time, there is a decrease in the production of ammonium sulfate (-0.6%) and paints and varnishes based on acrylic or vinyl polymers (-5.1%).
If in January-September 2020 the share of the metallurgical industry in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 25.9%, and the physical volume index increased by 2.7%, then in January-September 2021 the share of the industry in the manufacturing industry was 27.1%, the index of physical volume increased by 10.4%, while the volume of production amounted to 70.82 trillion soums.
In January-September 2020, the share of production of other non-metallic mineral products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 5.3%, while the volume index, in relation to the same period, amounted to 97.7%. In January-September 2021, the share of other non-metallic mineral products amounted to 5.6%, the index of the physical volume of production increased by 8.1%, and the volume of production amounted to 14.61 trillion soums.
If in January-September 2020 the share of food production in the manufacturing industry amounted to 13.6%, and the physical volume index, in relation to 2019, reached 107.0%, then in January-September 2021 the share food products decreased to 13.4%, the index of physical volume reached 105.1%, the total production amounted to 35.12 trillion soums.
At the end of January-September 2020, the share of beverage production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 2.5%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2019, amounted to 112.3%. In January-September 2021, the share of beverage production amounted to 2.9%, the volume index - 122.4%, and the production volume reached 7.56 trillion soums.
At the end of January-September 2020, the share of textile production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 10.9%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period of 2019, amounted to 110.9%. textile products amounted to 13.1%, the index of the physical volume of their production increased by 21.4%, and the volume of production amounted to 34.34 trillion soums.
If in January-September 2020 the share of clothing production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 3.3%, and the physical volume index was 105.1%, then in January-September 2021 the share of the industry in the manufacturing industry was 3.6%, physical volume index - 120.7%, production volume reached 9373.9 billion soums.
In January-September 2020, the share of chemical production in the structure of the manufacturing industry was 7.4%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2019, amounted to 101.6%.

At the end of January-September 2020, the share of coke and product production in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 3.8%, while the physical volume index, in relation to the same period in 2019, amounted to 100.0%.
In January-August 2021, the share of production of coke and refined products amounted to 3.0%, the physical volume index also decreased by 31.6%, and the volume of production amounted to 7962.9 billion soums.
At the end of January-September 2020, the share of the production of rubber and plastic products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 1.8%, while the volume index, in relation to the same period of 2019, amounted to 96.6%.
In January-September 2021, the share of this industry was 2.0%, the volume index was 112.5%, and the production volume was 5.1 trillion soums.
The volume of products produced by the enterprises of power supply, gas supply, steam and air conditioning amounted to 21.5 trillion soums (6.8% of the total industry).
The index of the physical volume of the industry, compared to the corresponding period of 2020, increased by 10.7%.
The volume of products manufactured by enterprises of water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal amounted to 2.2 trillion soums (0.7% of the total industry).
Compared to the corresponding period of 2020, there was a decrease in services for the emptying, cleaning and treatment of cesspools, sedimentation tanks and septic tanks by 3.3% and textile waste by 7.2%. their processing - by 48.9%.
As a result of measures taken to expand the range of finished products and support their production, the volume of consumer goods production amounted to 103.7 trillion sum, which is 110.9 trillion sum more than in the corresponding period of 2020. %, its share in total industry was 32.9%.
In the structure of food production, the production of wine and vodka and beer amounted to 5.9% (6.2% in January-September 2020).
In the structure of consumer goods production in the republic, the largest share falls on the city of Tashkent (23.4% of the total volume of consumer goods), Andijan (15.5%), Tashkent (12.0%) and Samarkand (9.4%) regions.
The largest growth in the production of consumer goods was recorded in Syrdarya (24.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2020), Bukhara (23.9%), Jizzakh (20.9%) regions and Tashkent city (30.1%), exceeding the average indicator for the republic (10.9%).

Today, 93.9 thousand industrial enterprises operate in the republic, of which 16.9 thousand (18.0% of the total number of operating enterprises) are in Tashkent, 10.3 thousand (11.0%) - in Fergana, 9.6 thousand (10.2%) - Tashkent, 9.6 thousand (10.2%) - Andijan and 8.2 thousand (8.8%) - Samarkand region.
The development of industrial production in the republic was also facilitated by the implementation of the Program for the localization of the production of finished products, components and materials, within the framework of which, according to 1,745 projects, products worth 20.2 trillion US dollars were produced. soums, exported localized products worth 261.4 million US dollars, created 8,992 new jobs.
Compared to the same period in 2020, in January-September 2021, the number of newly created jobs increased by 188.0%. At the same time, if we compare it with January-September 2020, there is an increase in the volume of exports of localized products.
