Coal products to be delivered to settlements in remote areas of Karakalpakstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 October, the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Sultanov got acquainted with the work on preparation for winter done by the enterprises of the system in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

In particular, he visited the Nukus warehouse of the Karakalpak branch of the Kumir Taminot enterprise of Uzbekugol. In the course of analyzing the work of this enterprise, the minister focused on creating the most convenient conditions for residents of remote settlements using coal products. It was noted that it is necessary to think over the delivery directly to consumers so that they do not have to travel tens of kilometers of roads in winter to bring coal products to their homes.

The Minister of Energy instructed the leadership of the industry to deliver coal products to remote areas of Karakalpakstan, in particular, to settlements remote from the coal base, by road.

Among such settlements: Koibak (50 km from the center), Kyrkyz (40 km), Zhaslyk (60 km), Karakalpakstan (200 km), Kazakhdarya (150 km), Kostruba (150 km), Chukurkak (130 km), Kyzylkum. (120 km), where the delivery of coal products by road will be organized.
