CIS customs services agreed on directions of work to suppress violations of the law

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A delegation of Belarusian customs officers led by Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Eduard Danilovich took part in a meeting of the Committee of Heads of Law Enforcement Divisions of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the CIS member states in Tashkent, BelTA reported quoting the State Customs Committee.
The meeting approved a plan for the implementation of measures of the committee’s activity strategy for the period up to 2030 and a work plan for the regional communications center for law enforcement work of the World Customs Organization for the CIS countries RILO-Moscow for 2022.
During the meetings of the working groups, the experts of the committee considered the issues of countering criminal activity in the field of international drug trafficking, improving information exchange about detected crimes, and developed approaches to organizing joint activities to suppress international channels for the supply of drugs and psychotropics.
Another important topic on the agenda of the committee is the peculiarities of investigating cases of administrative offenses, taking into account changes in the administrative, criminal and criminal procedural legislation of the CIS member states. The participants identified and agreed on the directions for further work to identify and suppress violations of customs legislation.
The customs officials also exchanged experience in training cynologists and service dogs, the results of the work of cynological units.
