Uzavtosanoat and the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic sign a memorandum of cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzavtosanoat and the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, under which the parties agreed to cooperate in organizing the production of cars and commercial vehicles in Kyrgyzstan.
The signing ceremony was attended by the chairman of the board of JSC "Uzavtosanoat" Shavkat Umurzakov and the Minister of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Turdubaev Kubanychbek in the framework of the international industrial exhibition "INNOPROM" in Tashkent.
The Kyrgyz side highly appreciated the automotive industry of Uzbekistan and the sides expressed mutual interest in exploring the possibility of organizing the production of vehicles in the Kyrgyz Republic. To this end, it is planned to create a joint working group to study technical, financial and other aspects of cooperation.
The implementation of this direction will allow the Kyrgyz side to create new jobs, increase the share of industry in the structure of GDP, enter export markets, and provide the population with cars of international quality.
The parties share common interests and goals in the development and expansion of interstate trade relations, including in the automotive industry. Today "Uzavtosanoat" already exports automobile and commercial equipment to the Kyrgyz Republic, which became the reason for the interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation and willingness to cooperate in the implementation of a joint project.
