Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 2020, Hududgazta’minot JSC began the implementation of the Automated Gas Metering Control System project, within which smart meters are installed for all categories of consumers, transmitting readings for consumed natural gas in real-time.
Currently, gas meters are installed in 77 cities / districts where consumption is high, there are receivables and the need to modernize gas distribution networks. At present, the implementation of the ASKUG project has been fully completed in the Tashkent, Zangiota and Kibray districts of Tashkent region, in the city of Margilan of Ferghana region, Karmana district of Navoi region. In total, over 991 thousand new smart meters have already been installed throughout the country, information from which automatically enters the Billinggas system.
Proceeding from the fact that the installation of "smart meters" of gas continues with high heat levels, JSC "Hududgazta’minot" abolished the posts of inspectors who had previously been collecting readings from consumers’ gas meters. The decision made will allow to establish a trusting relationship between the gas supplier and the subscriber, as well as to minimize the human factor when entering information on natural gas consumption into the Billinggas system from previously installed gas meters that are not connected to the ASKUG system.
In accordance with the new terms in the seller-buyer relationship, Hududgazta’minot JSC reminds that according to the current agreement between the subscriber and the natural gas supplier, payment for the used “blue fuel” must be made by the 10th day of each month. In case of late payment of the cost of the supplied gas within the terms stipulated in the contract, the consumer pays the supplier a penalty in accordance with the gas supply contract. The population pays a penalty for late payment for gas in the amount of 0.1% for each day of delay, but not more than 50% of the amount of the delayed payment.
Taking this opportunity, JSC "Hududgazta’minot" asks consumers not to enter into relationships with persons posing as inspectors of gas supplying organizations and not transmit them readings from gas meters that are not connected to the ASKUG system, but to pay bills use mobile payment systems or contact bank cash registers. In the coming days, a telegram bot and an application will also be launched, through which consumers will be able to send readings from gas meters that do not support the ASKUG system.
