Landslide kills 18 people in Indonesia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A landslide in the Indonesian province of East Java killed at least 18 people, Xinhua reported.

Rescuers believe that there is one more person left under the rubble.

The landslide that occurred on Sunday evening in the village of Ngetos was caused by prolonged heavy rains. The natural disaster affected more than 180 local residents. About 100 people were forced to leave their homes and find temporary shelter.
