Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of expanding the scale of cooperation in the field of advanced training and retraining abroad of representatives of Uzbekistan, Ambassador Dilshod Akhatov met with Ahilesh Mishra, head of the Main Directorate of the Development Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India.
The meeting discussed issues of retraining and advanced training of specialists in certain sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan and in the context of regions within the framework of the Indian Program of Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC).
Akhilesh Mishra noted that, despite the suspension of training courses due to the pandemic in 2020, the Indian side is ready to further expand cooperation with representatives of Uzbekistan under the ITEC program. In this regard, the possibility of organizing special courses for areas in demand in Uzbekistan will be studied.
At the same time, the meeting discussed the issue of organizing training courses and trainings in certain areas in the format of video conferencing.
