In parallel with the plenary session, a series of online talks will be held with the participation of representatives of the government circles of the UK and Uzbekistan, within the framework of which topical issues of bilateral investment, trade and economic cooperation will be considered.
Within the framework of the meeting, the British delegation will be headed by the Minister for Trade Policy of Great Britain Greg Hands, and the Uzbek delegation - by the First Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade L. Kudratov. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S. Umurzakov is expected to deliver a welcoming speech to the participants.

The upcoming UBTIC meeting will be the first event of this format since the entry into force of the Agreement.
In recent years, British and Uzbek companies have been consistently increasing cooperation in four key areas of socio-economic development, priority areas within the UBTIC work - clean energy, financial services, health care and education.
