Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Tashkent Youth Forum - 2020 has started its work. Initially, a press conference was organized for media representatives and bloggers.

It discussed the importance of Youth Month, held in November and December, and its events for the younger generation. It was noted that the month brought together the youth of Tashkent even more, helped them to move further towards new ambitious ideas, achievements and projects.

Many interesting events are also planned within the framework of the ongoing forum. In particular, today there will be lectures and speeches on the topics "Social sphere-2030: prospects of the education and health care system", "Legal Tashkent-2030", "Digital Tashkent-2030", "Financial future and the modern appearance of the capital-2030".

A press conference has begun in the Congress Hall of Tashkent, organized by the capital’s khokimiyat in cooperation with the Agency for Youth Affairs and the Youth Union of Uzbekistan. Khokim of Tashkent Jakhongir Artikkhodzhaev and Deputy Khokim of Tashkent Durdona Rakhimova are taking part in the press conference.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the city administration spoke about the events held during the month as part of the youth festival, stressing that he will help the young generation find the right path and make their dreams come true.

- About 10,000 young people are registered for the forum. They will take part in the events that will take place in the Congress Hall, said the deputy khokim of Tashkent Durdona Rakhimova.
