Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The education of domestic pharmacists must comply with the most modern international standards. A memorandum on joint work in this direction was signed between the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare and the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute.
During the signing on 30 November 2020, a detailed conversation took place about the possibilities of cooperation with the participation of the chairman of the National Chamber of Commerce Rovshan Izamov and the rector of the university Kamal Rizaev.
Izamov noted that within the framework of familiarization with the leading healthcare institutions of a number of foreign countries, the delegation of the National Chamber reached agreements on the possibility of developing projects in the field of pharmaceuticals. In particular, such discussions took place during a visit to a modern pharmaceutical production in the Czech Republic, where the foreign side expressed interest in the implementation of joint projects and investment.
There are great opportunities for cooperation between the National Chamber and the Pharmaceutical Institute in the field of personnel training. During the pandemic, the National Chamber organized more than 15 online conferences and discussions with leading foreign experts from the UK, Canada, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Korea, Italy. The experience of leading foreign healthcare institutions can significantly expand the professional horizons of students and teachers of a domestic university.
The heads of partner organizations discussed the importance of the participation of pharmaceutical specialists in the preparation of clinical protocols, the development and implementation of which is one of the tasks of the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Modern high-tech pharmaceuticals are an integral part of the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. Therefore, when developing clinical protocols, the expert opinion of domestic highly professional specialists in the field of pharmaceuticals is extremely necessary.
The parties intend to cooperate in the field of scientific research, including partner grants and projects, in the field of improving and introducing standards, methods for standardizing medicines and international quality standards, in training and on other topical health issues of mutual interest.
During the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation, the parties reached an agreement on the development in a short time of a "road map" of joint events for the near term with further preparation of proposals for the development of partnership.
Izamov and Rizaev expressed their confidence that the partnership that was launched would contribute to the further development and strengthening of the national health care system, increasing its human and scientific potential.
