Enterprises of the future open today
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Namangan region, the tasks outlined by the President are being implemented to develop the industrial sector, expand the production of competitive products. In order to familiarize and highlight these processes, a press tour to the agro-industrial cluster of Art Soft Holding was organized.
First, the participants of the press tour visited cotton plantations in Mingbulak district. It should be noted that the company was allocated 31.5 thousand hectares of land in Pap district and 30.9 thousand in Mingbulak district. The enterprise has introduced new methods of working with farms. And here special success was achieved thanks to the advantages of a modern cluster system, an innovative method of farming. As a result, in 2019, almost 67 tons of raw cotton were grown in the Art Soft tex cluster in Mingbulak and Pap districts, which is 14.8 percent more than planned.
It is interesting that in the past year the workers of Pap district, who for several years did not cope with the planned targets for the sale of raw cotton to the state, exceeded the targets by 110 percent. Now cotton is being harvested at an accelerated pace, and cotton picking machines are also used.
Further, the media representatives visited the Automotive Park and got acquainted with the new equipment imported from abroad and its capabilities. In 2019-2020, tractors and other equipment were purchased. Due to the connection of equipment to the GPS system, any disruptions in the work process are excluded.
This year, special attention is paid to machine harvesting of cotton; several dozen combines are involved in both regions. An additional 70 trailers were purchased for cotton pickers.
At the cotton reception centers, journalists were introduced to modern methods of controlling the quality of incoming raw materials, and surveillance cameras are also used. This avoids any delays in the delivery of the raw cotton.
The participants of the press tour visited the Art Soft Textile factory, where the yarn is produced. Here, with high requirements for the quality of products, the most modern imported equipment is used. Most of it is exported and is in high demand among foreign consumers. Natural cotton towels and bed linen are shipped to the customer only after strict quality control. The whole process is digitized, and the overseas buyer has the ability to track the volume and quality of products.
According to the director of the factory Nurullo Asrorov, in the next three years, Art Soft Holding LLC will implement projects worth US$100 million. Thus, the Art Soft tex cluster farm specializes in growing raw cotton, grain and other crops, Art Soft fiber LLC - processing of raw cotton, Art Soft oil LLC - production of fat and oil products, Art Soft laboratory LLC - soil composition testing, plant protection against diseases and pests. Eight more companies are involved in the agro-industrial cluster. As a result of the projects implementation, more than 1200 jobs will be created.
For seven months of this year, the enterprises of the holding, which employ more than 3250 people, produced goods for 133.5 billion soums. Most of them were exported to the CIS countries.
The necessary conditions have been created for workers, about 75 percent of whom are young people and women. Special buses are provided. Three hot meals a day and overalls are provided free of charge. Wages are decent.
Art Soft Holding LLC carries out a lot of work on the development of the country’s economy with the aim of social support of the Uzbek people.
