Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In connection with the dissemination in the Internet space of information about the death of a compatriot in a tent camp in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region of Russia, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry informs that on 19 September 2020, during the boarding of fellow citizens on a special train, one of the passengers - citizen of Uzbekistan R.J. (born on 13/09/1987) on the square in front of the station "Likhaya" became ill, as a result of which he died suddenly before the arrival of an ambulance.
According to the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don, this compatriot did not live in a tent camp. After arriving from St. Petersburg, R.J., due to poor health, was hospitalized on 14 September at the Central City Hospital in Shakhty, from which he was taken to the Likhaya station.
Coronavirus disease in this citizen has not been confirmed.
After resolving organizational and consular legal issues, the body of the deceased was sent on a charter flight to his homeland.
The Consular and Legal Department expresses its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
