Uzbekneftegaz: 160,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day were obtained at the Vostochny Berdak field after well overhaul

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Several wells are being overhauled at the Sharkiy-Berdak field in the Ustyurt gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

In particular, workover work was carried out in well No. 40. The works to isolate the water inflow and the completion of the below-lying horizons were carried out by the forces of JSC "Uzneftegazkuduktamirlash".

As a result of the perforation work carried out in the intervals of 2436-2428 m, an industrial gas inflow was obtained with a daily flow rate of 160,000 cubic meters and 1 tonnes of gas condensate.

The Sharkiy Berdak gas condensate field is located in Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and was commissioned in 2002.
