Japanese airline organizes charter flights to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 September, at the State Committee for Tourism Development, a meeting was held with the head of the representative office of the Japanese company Marubeni in Uzbekistan Nagahito Miyoshi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of organizing and increasing the number of charter flights, including VIP charter flights to Uzbekistan from European and other countries of the world by JAL Business Aviation, created by Marubeni and Japan Airlines. The airline representatives expressed interest in the Uzbek market and proposed to organize cooperation by increasing the tourist flow between Uzbekistan and Japan.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee Ulugbek Azamov and representatives of the airline agreed to hold a meeting with local tour operators on this issue. At the meeting, a proposal was made to launch charter flights from Europe to Uzbekistan in conjunction with the London office of the airline.
The initiative was approved by the Japanese partners, and it was noted that as the situation with the pandemic stabilizes, organizational work on the agreements reached will be carried out as soon as possible.
