Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Special headquarters of the Ministry of Energy on September 16 this year. an offsite meeting was held in Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to analyze the state of affairs on the spot, check the readiness for a stable supply of electricity to the population and budgetary organizations of the region in the autumn-winter period of 2020-2021.
Members of the Special Headquarters visited the new building of Muynak districtal power supply enterprise, which was commissioned in October last year, and made it possible to improve the quality of customer service.
The modern building has a hall with 120 seats, where visitors can comfortably await the reception of the appropriate specialists. To ensure uninterrupted service of people, monitors that meet modern requirements have been installed, and a free Wi-Fi network operates. The electronic scoreboard installed in the lobby displays data in Uzbek, Karakalpak and Russian.
To date, in order to provide uninterrupted power supply to consumers in Muynak district, in the autumn-winter period, a major overhaul of the power grid with a length of 40 km, as well as 20 transformer stations, has been carried out. In addition, the reconstruction of power transmission lines with a total length of 38 km and 6 transformer points was carried out. As for the current repair, it was carried out for power transmission lines with a length of 143 km and 56 transformer points.
In general, consumers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in the autumn-winter period 2020-2021 are scheduled to supply 733.4 million kWh of electricity, which is 67.1 million kWh or 10.1% more than in the previous year. season.
In total, 20.4 thousand km of power transmission lines and 4,976 transformer stations will be used to supply power to consumers in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Until 1 October 2020, 1,552.1 kilometers of power lines and 443 transformer stations will be overhauled. To date, a reserve has been created for 52 transformer stations, 60 tons of transformer oil and 49.2 km of cable products.
