European Mobility Week to be held in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The European Mobility Week will be held in the country on 16-22 September. This year’s Week is dedicated to collaboration, collaborative efforts and exchange of views between government and civil society to create a shared vision for a cycling-friendly, safe and sustainable urban environment.
In support of expanding the cycling community in Tashkent, the Week will use digital and social media, as well as animated social media posts, to explain the benefits and rules of cycling and zero-emission mobility under the slogan TashkentZaVelo.
As part of the action, all Tashkent residents can support the TashkentZaVelo initiative by testing at least one street on the daily cycle route, thereby helping to create a map of the Tashkent concept and participating in the prize drawing.
Participation rules: Take a photo of the bike, post it on the European Mobility Week Facebook page and note the street name. Thus, the participant will automatically be included in the prize draw, which will take place on 23 September, and will have a chance to win one of three city bikes.
