According to sources, ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization. This is an organization that is a worldwide federation of national standardization organizations.
Translated from Greek, the word “ΙΣΟΣ” (ISOS) is “equal”, which is why the ISO has the short name ISO (ISO) in all languages of the world.
ISO participants today are more than 150 countries, each of which is represented by national standardization organizations. Over the period of the organization’s existence, more than 17 thousand international standards have been published in various fields of activity. Since February 2020, the Uztekstilprom Association has begun work on the development and implementation of a quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 within the organization.
For this side of the consulting company Asia Register, an assessment audit was conducted on the organization’s compliance with this standard, in particular, the main business processes of the organization were identified, responsible persons for the processes and a working group for the development and implementation of the QMS were appointed. Based on the results of the presented reporting, a phased description of all business processes has begun.
A questionnaire was developed to monitor consumers’ perceptions of the extent to which their needs were met. Also, work is underway to develop and determine the main strategic objectives of the policy and goals in the field of quality.
For a more detailed explanation of the main goals of the QMS that it gives the organization, first of all, to heads of all levels and young specialists, an information and consultation training seminar was held in March, during which all the fundamental aspects of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 and methods of conducting were explained QMS internal audit. In addition, taking into account that in the current situation of a pandemic, enterprises need to revise the work schedule of employees and adjust to the realities of the business, similar seminars were held for enterprises of the Bukhara region.
Currently, together with the Uzstandard Agency, the process of implementation is being completed online.
