Two more patients with COVID-19 died in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan has reported two more deaths in patients diagnosed with coronavirus.
According to the Ministry of Health, a 28-year-old woman who was diagnosed with coronavirus infection died in Jizzakh.
Since 22 June, she had a fever and was treated at home. After the woman’s condition worsened, she applied to medical help.
A coronavirus test showed a positive result. She was diagnosed with bilateral bronchopneumonia and acute respiratory failure, she was connected to a ventilator.
Despite resuscitation procedures, the woman died from acute respiratory and heart failure.
Also in Tashkent, a 51-year-old man died, who was also diagnosed with coronavirus infection.
A resident of Shaykhantakhur district was hospitalized in the city clinical emergency hospital, where he was positively tested for COVID-19. He had bilateral pneumonia.
After the patient’s condition worsened and respiratory failure intensified, as well as shortness of breath, he was transferred to the intensive care unit.
Despite resuscitation procedures, the man died from acute respiratory and heart failure.
