Ministry of Health: A man with COVID-19 dies in Samarkand region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A 61-year old man, living in Urgust district of Samarkand region and diagnosed with coronavirus, died.
On 27 June 2020, he was admitted to the regional infectious diseases hospital due to initial contact with the patient with coronavirus, and treatment was started.
He was diagnosed with severe COVID-19 infection. The disease was characterized by grade 3 bilateral pneumonia, a complication of acute respiratory failure.
The patient previously suffered from chronic renal failure, hypertension, coronary heart disease, and myocardial infarction.
During the treatment of the patient, his daily condition was monitored online by specialists of the Ministry of Health of the Samarkand State Medical Institute.
However, despite the rapid resuscitation procedures performed by doctors in accordance with the standards, the patient died of acute respiratory failure and acute cardiovascular failure.
