Religious institutions will resume their activities only on 8 June and exclusively in green areas
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Given the stabilization of the sanitary and epidemiological situation associated with the spread of coronavirus infection, based on the study of the experience and practice of foreign countries, as well as taking into account the requests of citizens of our country, the Special Commission is carrying out systematic work to gradually mitigate restrictive quarantine measures.
In particular, for the full implementation of the protocol decision of the Special Commission from 4 June 2020, from 5 to 8 June in religious institutions located in the "green" zones, to ensure the safe resumption of their activities, a set of preparatory measures will be carried out.
These measures are aimed at bringing religious institutions in strict accordance with the requirements of sanitary and epidemiological norms and rules (SanPiN of May 11, 2020) and include disinfecting work, applying the necessary markings to ensure compliance with social distance (at least 1.5 -2 meters), equipping with necessary equipment (pyrometers, sanitizers and disinfectants, sanitary rugs, etc.), conducting training seminars with workers of these religious institutions, etc.
Thus, religious institutions will resume their activities only on 8 June 2020 and exclusively in the “green” zones, with strict observance of sanitary and epidemiological standards (with the obligatory wearing of protective medical masks), as well as measures of social distance ( the distance between visitors is not less than 1.5-2 meters).
At the same time, due to the continuing tendency to infect citizens from unknown sources and to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection among the population, the organization of mass religious events (Friday and Sunday prayers, etc.) is prohibited.
