Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The next issue of the Israeli magazine "Eilat Live" published a series of materials devoted to Uzbekistan, Dunyo reported.
So, the May issue of the publication included an article about how in our country they honor the memory of those who died in the Second World War, remember the heroism of the rear workers. The material says that the perpetuation of the contribution of the Uzbek people to the great victory, the 75th anniversary of which was celebrated this year, is under the personal attention of the President of the country. It is reported that on his initiative in Tashkent on 9 May, Victory Park and the Museum of Glory were opened.
Another piece is about Uzbekistan’s efforts to help exporters and support the economy during the pandemic. A separate article is devoted to ensuring social protection of citizens, especially vulnerable segments of the population of Uzbekistan under quarantine restrictions. It is emphasized that in the framework of the COVID-19 confrontation, 16 presidential acts were adopted aimed at ensuring economic and social stability, maintaining the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, and others.
Another article talks about the fact that the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved the proposal for the country's cooperation with the EAEU as an observer. It talks about the prospects that will open for the republic with entry into the organization at the present stage, as well as the possibility of a practical study of the need to join this association.
