Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Sergeli Elevated Metro is scheduled to be commissioned in September 2020. This was reported during a meeting of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the leadership and residents of Sergeli district.
During the meeting, it was noted that Uzbekistan Temir Yollari was building the Sergeli elevated metro with a length of 7 kilometers and a cost of US$83 million. The task was set to put this line into operation in September this year.
The construction of the metro, the total length of which will be 52.1 kilometers, is carried out in five stages. First, a line will be laid from the Dustlik station of the Tashkent Metro to the Kuylyuk market. On this segment with a length of 11 kilometers there will be 8 stations.
