Uzbek producers to begin to produce agricultural machinery in Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzagrotechsanoathholding opens agricultural production in Kazakhstan. The total investment will be about US$12 million, Dunyo reported.
The investment agreement and the Roadmap of the project for the assembly of Uzbek agricultural machinery in Kazakhstan were signed on 28 May. The agreement was concluded between Uzagrotehsanoathholding, the Akimat of Turkestan region and the Kazakhstan company Orbis Kazakhstan.
The joint project will be implemented at the Brownfield production site in the territory of the Turkistan industrial zone in 3 stages. After it reaches full capacity, about 100 jobs will be created.
According to Uzagrotechsanoathholding, it is planned to organize the production of agricultural machinery with the prospect of localization.
On the territory of the industrial zone, the assembly of universal cultivating tractors with a capacity of 110 horsepower, cotton-growing tractors with a capacity of 80 horsepower, cotton-picking machines, tractor trailers capable of transporting loads of up to 4 tons, rotary mowers, fan sprayers, cotton-growing cultivators and reversible plows will be carried out.
At the same time, the Uzbek side will conduct training and advanced training of Kazakh specialists, as well as organize practical trainings for technical personnel. Orbis Kazakhstan will have to develop a dealer and service network for the sale of manufactured equipment in Kazakhstan.
