Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Comprehensive measures taken in Uzbekistan to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic are supported and welcomed by foreign health experts, Dunyo news agency reported.
For example, in Iran, the country most affected by the highest mortality rate, Deputy Minister of Health Asadi Lari, as well as specialists from the ministry, Fareshte Ziroati and Mohammad Mehdi Güyo, praised the quick response of the leadership of our country to the challenge that most countries of the world have faced today.
“The construction of a new large center for quarantine of Uzbek citizens returning from abroad in Uzbekistan, as well as the construction of a fast-paced infectious diseases hospital will certainly ensure the high efficiency of doctors’ work to quickly curb the coronavirus epidemic in the country,” they emphasized. “Such prompt and well-thought-out steps indicate the true concern of the state to preserve the life and health of its citizens.”
According to M. Gouyou, due to the lack of the necessary analyzers for the timely diagnosis of coronavirus, Iran missed some time, which caused the widespread spread of this disease practically throughout the country. Uzbekistan, however, began preparations for the detection of the first case of coronavirus infection and began large-scale events from the first days of the registration of this ailment.
“The scale of the work carried out testifies to the high mobilization ability of state bodies and the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” he concluded.
