Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The State Tax Service receives a large number of appeals related to artificially raising prices for agricultural products in the markets in connection with the decision of the Special Republican Commission on the introduction of a temporary restriction on the movement of vehicles.
Many are of the opinion that due to restrictions on the movement of vehicles during quarantine days, agricultural products will not be imported anymore.
This information is not true.
According to the Tashkent Main Internal Affairs Directorate, all posts were instructed to freely (but after mandatory body sanitization) allow vehicles with agricultural products to pass, as the decision states that the restrictions do not apply to the movement of trucks, especially those that transport agricultural products.
In addition, supermarkets, food markets, as well as grocery stores located inside residential areas, mahallas, will also continue their work.
The hype created - crowds of people in markets, in stores - is a violation of quarantine and will only contribute to the spread of coronavirus!
The State Tax Committee reminds that responsibility is provided for artificially inflating prices and requests that you contact the “Helpline” of the tax service.
