Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport with a delegation led by the executive director of the Malaysian company Midlands Aviation Pacific Asia, Raja Darrayj.
During the meeting, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev introduced foreign guests who are interested in new investment projects and reforms in the field of civil aviation.
It was especially noted that in order to expand the geography of flights and attract foreign airlines, the Open Skies mode was introduced at Karshi, Nukus and Termez international airports using the "fifth air freedom", as well as at Bukhara airport in the “open skies” regime has been introduced for the transport of foreign citizens, in addition, in order to further develop air freight traffic at the airports of Navoi and Termez, it is planned to introduce the “Open Skies” regime with the provision of the seventh degree of “air freedom” for cargo flights companies.
Mr. Raj Durraj, Executive Director of Midlands Aviation Pacific Asia, announced his desire to organize a pilot training center in Urgench and a logistics hub, and presented his projects.
