Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 4–7 March 2020, a delegation of Primorsk Territory of Russia headed by Deputy Prime Minister Konstantin Shestakov was in Uzbekistan.

According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok, the Russian delegation in Tashkent was received by the Minister of Transport Elyor Ganiev, Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Furkat Rakhimov, and also held a number of meetings with private entrepreneurs involved in the export of fruits and vegetables. The focus was on specific issues of deliveries of fresh and dried fruits and vegetables from our country to Primorsk Territory.

The delegation also got acquainted with the production base, storage facilities and logistics centers of the Tashkent region, met with the deputy khokim of Khorezm region Shavkat Tulyaganov and representatives of the region’s business.

Following the results of negotiations with the management of HC “Uzbekoziqovqatholding”, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
